Students from Okanagan Waldorf School participated in a local Community Kudos project for hospital staff at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
More than 3,000 coffee sleeves designed by elementary students at schools across the Greater Vernon community - including Okanagan Waldorf School -- were distributed as a way of showing their appreciation for Vernon’s health-care workers.
Students from kindergarten to grade eight from 12 different schools put their artistic skills into the project which coincides with National Employee Appreciation day.
Okanagan Waldorf School says, “Huge thanks for the Vernon Physicians Society, and the Civility Project at VJH for giving our students a wonderful way to show their appreciation and gratitude.”
