In celebration of Waldorf education’s 100 year anniversary, Waldorf schools and institutes across North America have begun to record and share their stories using the StoryCorps Archive, the largest collection of human voices ever gathered. With this initiative—titled the Waldorf Chronicles--students, teachers, administrators, staff, parents, alumni and friends share about their experiences and a tapestry of stories about Waldorf education is woven that will be celebrated and archived for the generations to come.

Here’s one to hear where our own Melanie Reiser speaks with Dr. Torin M. Finser.

"For me [that is] the motto for a Waldorf class teacher... to help the students do what you yourself may not be so good at." - Torin Finser.
