Sandpoint Waldorf School has just received a conditional use permit for a new school campus on a nearby 25-acre site purchased in January of 2022. This will allow the school to expand its space for more students and for expanded curriculum.

Sandpoint Waldorf currently sits on about three-quarters of an acre in with limited parking and a small space for a garden and playground. The school plans to build the early childhood center first followed by a grades facility.

They are still finalizing the design plans but hope to break ground this spring and have students begin on the new site in the fall of 2024.

Julie McCallan, the school's Pedagogical Director, said, "This is really a dream come true because it's 25 acres of an open palette."
