It is with much joy and excitement we announce that Rebecca Moskowitz will join our Executive Team as Executive Director, Advancement beginning July 1, 2021.

Most recently, Rebecca has been the Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations at the Chicago Waldorf School and previously served as a Class Teacher for more than 20 years. She has also served as an AWSNA Delegate for the past three years.

Rebecca has a BA in Marketing and Public Relations from Columbia College, studied Education and Psychology at Purdue University, and is a graduate of the Arcturus Waldorf Teacher Training Program.

The Search Committee’s experience of Rebecca throughout the process, and her stellar references reflect an engaged and capable leader. We take note of the respect she has engendered in all with whom she has worked. Rebecca’s insights into diversity, equity, and inclusion, along with her incredibly positive energy and heart-open receptivity, make her an outstanding successor to Beverly Amico. As a member of the Executive Team, we are confident that she will lead AWSNA into a vibrant future.

In accepting the role as Executive Director, Advancement, Rebecca shares:

“I am deeply honored to accept this important role for AWSNA and continue the work that Beverly and the Executive Team have done to guide the Waldorf movement. I look forward to collaborating with the Board, Leadership Council, Delegates, Liaisons, and all our schools and institutes as we move into a new century of Waldorf education on this continent and in the world.”
