In the final step of acquiring their new home, the Berkshire Waldorf High School Board of Trustees signed a purchase agreement for the Old Town Hall in Stockbridge, MA.

The school is shifting from having four classrooms in 3,500 square feet to six classrooms and dedicated laboratory and art spaces in the 8,000 square foot building that has served as Stockbridge’s town hall since 1902.

School officials looked at about 50 sites before finding the Old Town Hall, which is less than a half mile from Berkshire Waldorf’s current address.

Teresa O'Brient, chair of the Berkshire Waldorf High School Board of Trustees, said that when they found the site they declared: “Oh my goodness, it could not be more perfect.’”
