Linden Waldorf School is in the news for continuing their outdoor learning program through winter and making it permanent beyond the pandemic.

“This is a permanent change. We have decided to deliberately invest in the health and safety of our students not only in their physical health but also in their mental health,” said Tricia, Principal of Linden Waldorf School.

Teacher, Catie Johnson, explains why she teaching outdoors brings students closer to the curriculum: "Bugs, spiders, kinds of bugs I've never seen before. Then when we are studying botany, there are the seasonal changes that are just there every day. We will have days in the fall where the leaves are just falling."
