The Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) is a nonprofit membership organization of independent Waldorf schools and institutes in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
The association was founded in 1968 to support schools and institutes. Our vision is to strengthen and nurture Waldorf education and to advance Waldorf principles worldwide.

Dr. Lea Fredrickson, Shapes STEM Education in Silicon Valley
Dr. Lea Fredrickson, an alum from The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara, received her PhD in Physics from UCLA studying the Biophysics of hearing. She now teaches at Waldorf School of the Peninsula.
Pasadena Waldorf School Students Perform at the Grammys
Students from Pasadena Waldorf School and took the Grammy stage alongside Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock for a moving performance of We Are the World.
Hawthorne Valley awarded $1.2 million grant
Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School has been awarded of $1.2 million from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to support its efforts to become a Net Positive organization and decarbonize its campus.
