Summerfield Waldorf School & Farm is seeking a fully-trained Waldorf class teacher starting the 2025-26 school year. We are seeking candidates who are dedicated to Waldorf Education, inspired in their work, enthusiastic for the challenge, and wish to work deeply out of anthroposophy!

Essential Job Duties
Physical Requirements for Employees at SWSF:
Summerfield is both a school and farm. Though we do have paved pathways between various buildings,
many pathways are unpaved and rough. Some have steep inclines and declines, steps and holes.
Employees must have the ability to:
● Navigate various-density and uneven surfaces for extended periods of time and significant lengths;
● Stand and/or sit for extended periods of time;
● Use a computer for extended periods of time;
● Squat, stoop and/or bend over;
● Reach overhead, grasp, push/pull up to 35 pounds for short distances;
● Lift and carry up to 45 lbs. at waist height for short distances.
Employment Details
This is an exempt salaried position. The salary range is $63,100-$78,000, depending on years of experience. We offer an excellent benefits package including medical and dental coverage, long-term disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and 90% tuition remission for qualified students.
