Opening Statement
Tucson Waldorf School (TWS) is excited to invite passionate and dedicated educators to join our vibrant faculty as Class Teachers. We are seeking Waldorf-certified teachers or those nearing completion of an accredited Waldorf teacher training program. Exceptional educators with experience in other teaching methodologies who are eager to embrace Waldorf pedagogy are also encouraged to apply.

About Tucson Waldorf School
Established in 1993, TWS is an independent Waldorf school serving families from Early Childhood through Grade 8. Our comprehensive programs include parent-child classes, nursery, kindergarten, and grades one through eight. As Arizona’s only full member of both AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America) and WECAN (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America), we take pride in providing an education that nurtures the whole child.

Essential Job Duties
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons using Waldorf pedagogy.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, administrative staff, the Parent Council, and the Board of Directors.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to deepen understanding of Waldorf principles and practices.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes diversity, equity, and belonging.
- Support the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of each student.

- Waldorf teaching certification or a commitment to pursuing certification.

- Additional Compensation: Annual tenure credits and cost-of-living adjustments.
