Essential Job Duties
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive early childhood curriculum that aligns with Waldorf educational principles.
– Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity.
– Observe and engage with each child, fostering their unique gifts and supporting their emotional and social development.
– Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s growth and development.
– Maintain a harmonious and organized classroom environment that reflects the beauty of nature and the seasons.
– Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the vibrant life of the school community.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
– Completed Waldorf Early Childhood teacher training or be in the process of obtaining it and have experience working with young children.
– Possess the required Teacher and/or Director Teacher Card with DHS Registry.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community.
– First Aid/CPR certification is necessary, and a background check must be passed.
