High School Humanities Teacher
Opening Statement
Kimberton Waldorf School is searching for a high school humanities teacher for the 2026-27 school year. We are looking for an experienced and exceptional educator to teach full-time in our English and Humanities Department.

Essential Job Duties
The essential duty of the teacher is to be a model of maturity for young people. We are looking for professionals who:
- lead the class with presence, patience, humor, and wisdom
- communicate regularly and clearly with parents and colleagues
- attend weekly staff meetings
- are organized and prepared every day
- develop healthy relationships with all students, parents, and staff
Qualifications
We expect teachers to have a personal connection to and appreciation for Waldorf education, and we expect their understanding of Waldorf education to continue to develop over time. Formal Waldorf training is preferred, but not required. Typically, a strong candidate will already have substantial teaching experience at a Waldorf school.
