Foundational Lessons on Waldorf Education Retreat/FLOWER

The FLOWER is a 3-week full immersion into the formative ideas of Waldorf education. Like Waldorf education itself, it will engage you in head, heart and hands (and feet!). Morning talks, meditations and practical experiences will open up the broad panoramas of this way of seeing and educating the child, young person and adult that takes the spiritual dimension of our human becoming seriously. Afternoon artistic, craft and movement activities will allow these pictures to blossom and grow through experiences of the processes of learning.

We invite those of you considering teaching in a Waldorf school or Waldorf-inspired homeschool, those already employed in a Waldorf school who would like to deepen their understanding of this pedagogical approach, or those seeking new hope in a desiccating educational landscape, to join this 3-week process and experience for yourselves the extraordinary possibilities of this positive, future oriented, spirit-infused education.

Those who complete the three-week program (with 90%+ attendance) will receive a Certificate of Completion at our General Graduation ceremony on July 23, and will thereby have completed the first stage in the journey towards becoming a qualified Waldorf teacher.
