2026 Summer Festival of Arts and Education

2026 Summer Festival of Arts and Education

When: 07/06/2026  - 07/24/2026    Eastern Time

Where: Toronto, Ontario

Sponsoring Organization: Rudolf Steiner College Canada

We are, it is said, living in a new era of geological time, the Anthropocene, the ‘human being time’. And yet, far from being the driving force we seem especially vulnerable, as if nature has broken its limits and is redressing the imbalance caused by our unfettered production. Finding our way to that new, harmonious, mutual relationship between humankind and nature calls for new thinking, a thinking that goes beyond the stratification of our sciences and the agendas of our politics and religions, a thinking alive to future becoming, a thinking that recovers the inner light that has dimmed.

We welcome you to our 2026 Summer Festival of Arts and Education, an opportunity to explore new thinking together with people who have been working in their own fields out of this spirit. As Nana Goebel put it so succinctly in the recently published “On The Earth We Want To Live – Anthroposophy’s Contributions to Sustainable Development” (2025), “The qualitative deepening of pedagogical work, in the face of the pervasive superficiality that is spreading everywhere, is one of the most critical tasks of our time.”

We hope you will find the courses this year inspiring for your own, and your children’s becoming.
