First graders at the Pasadena Waldorf School are learning numbers through the Seneca Nation folklore story of Crow -- a young man who, while grieving the death of his parents, runs away from his people to find himself transported to the land of Grandfather Mountain.
The Waldorf School of Garden City is celebrating their 75th anniversary and welcoming an alum, Anne Murray, as their new Board Chair. The Garden City News recently reported on the all-woman leadership team at the school, which includes Murray, school administrator, Nicole Littrean, and faculty chair, Kelly O’Halogan.
The Center for Biography and Social Art provides biography workshops specifically designed to help faculty, parents, staff, and board members get to know each other and to work together. Awakening Connections; Creating Community will take place in three half day sessions over the course of a school year in person or on Zoom.
In 2000, the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor’s first graduating class of seniors made individual mosaic panels in art class that were gifted to the school. Almost every year since, seniors have created a large, collaborative mosaic to be permanently mounted at the high school.
