Marin Waldorf School is seeking a warm, dependable, and collaborative Grades Aftercare Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Our Aftercare program extends the rhythm and care of the school day, providing students with a nurturing environment for rest, play, creativity, and connection. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children, contributes positively to a collaborative school community, and can help create a calm and engaging afternoon experience.

Training or experience in Waldorf education is preferred but not required.

Essential Job Duties

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and care for students in both indoor and outdoor settings, maintaining a safe, welcoming, and engaging aftercare environment.
  • Work closely with the Grades Aftercare Coordinator to support daily program activities, routines, and student needs.
  • Prepare age-appropriate activities and snacks before students arrive, and clean and organize the space after each session.
  • Accurately manage student attendance and sign-in/sign-out procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with students, families, teachers, and office staff as needed.
