Administrative Coordinator
Opening Statement
City of Lakes Waldorf School is now accepting applications for the Administrative Coordinator position (35-40 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have administrative experience, strong customer service skills, proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets, and database applications. Must be professional and possess a calm, kind demeanor to greet visitors and support parents, students, and staff.
Essential Job Duties
Primary responsibilities include supporting daily operations through communications, technology, and record-keeping. Daily responsibilities include answering incoming calls, maintaining the school database (Ravenna), technical troubleshooting, and administering basic first aid. Supports school regulatory/legal functions, the tuition assistance program through TADS, early childhood licensed programs, school committees, new employee onboarding, courses and student reports, the management of the school’s state Title Funds, and staff and visiting professionals’ travel arrangements. Assists with administrative work and provides support to faculty as needed.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities are required. Other qualities necessary include inner flexibility and the ability to troubleshoot and think on your feet. Previous experience in a school environment and/or interest in or commitment to Waldorf education is a plus.
