Our diverse and accomplished faculty works out of Rudolf Steiner’s picture of child
development and, through collaborative engagement, strives to create an environment

This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established High School (66+ years)
with a group of experienced teachers. In-house mentoring/coaching and Waldorf
pedagogy classes are available for newer teachers, while more experienced and trained
teachers will have speaking partners to aid in their transition to our school.

 

Essential Job Duties

This position includes:
● Main lessons: Dante’s Inferno (possibly as an assistant), Shakespeare, Tragedy,
and Slavic Literature (with one possible addition)
● Two daily English Language Arts class during the first year for the ninth and
tenth grades
● Support for theatre productions, based on experience during the first year, and
possible direction and production of plays in subsequent years
● Teach study skills, time management, executive functioning, test preparation, etc.

Qualifications

A successful applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the Humanities, with a Master’s
degree and Waldorf teacher training preferred.

Employment Details

We provide competitive compensation, a
comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, and disability insurance, a
school-funded HSA, a retirement account, and a salary range of $42,500 to $60,000 for
a part-time position based on years of experience and education.

*It will be possible to increase this position to full-time in 2026-’27.
