A devastating fire destroyed the Meadowbrook Waldorf School two years ago. Local, regional and worldwide Waldorf communities donated over $192,000 to rebuild the school and students are now back on campus.
The Anonimo Foundation has given Ashwood Waldorf School’s strings program a $6,000 grant. The grant has enabled Ashwood to hire Tyler Yentes as a strings teacher for the school.
Whether building igloo tents, pavilions, permanent or temporary structures, news organizations are taking note of Waldorf school’s ability to think not just “outside the box,” but outside the school building.
