In June, AWSNA held three consecutive keynote conversations to discuss principle #6 of the AWSNA Principles for Waldorf Schools which states: “Spiritual development in support of professional growth is an ongoing activity for faculty, staff, and board members.”

One of these keynotes looked specifically at the role of music as a tool do deepend inner development. In this conversation, Marshunda Smith and Jeff Spade, who are both practicing music teachers in Waldorf schools in the United States, share their love of all things music and how this work has deepened and enriched their inner development.

This keynote conversation, facilitated by Rebecca Moskowitz, Executive Director, Advancement for AWSNA, is joyful, inspiring, and shows us how deepening our inner work helps us to show up each day for our students.
