Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary is hosting their 2020 Waldorf Workshop in July to help successfully bring bees to Waldorf schools. A limited number of scholarships are also available for Waldorf teachers interested in coming to the workshop as part of their summertime continuing education.

The four-day event will include pedagogical tools for teaching about the bees, pollinator gardens, and bees in schools. Practical work with the bees is part of the workshop as well as guidance for pollinator planting and transforming the gardens and landscape.

The workshop will take place July 08-11, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary, 401 Hideaway Lane, Floyd, VA 24091. The cost is $485.00 and anyone interested in a scholarship should contact Jody at jody@spikenardfarm.org.
