Full Time Eurythmy
Opening Statement
The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork is seeking a warm and enthusiastic experienced pedagogical Eurythmy Teacher to join their faculty for the 2026/2027 school year. This role involves providing eurythmy instruction across multiple ages, from early childhood through grade eight with the support of a pianist.
The ideal candidate will have a Eurythmy Training Certification, experience teaching eurythmy to different age groups, and a commitment to Waldorf principles and philosophy. The school offers a collaborative environment with a dedicated eurythmy space on a beautiful campus, and a strong commitment to Waldorf pedagogy.

The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork is located in the Rocky Mountains of Western Colorado close to Aspen. We are a Waldorf school with a dedicated faculty, robust student body, supportive board and a comprehensive toddler through 8th grade Waldorf curriculum.
Our school is set in the beautiful Roaring Fork valley where the community enjoys a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities year-round. Our campus is all straw bale construction and designed based on Steiner’s architectural indications, providing a beautiful space for our faculty and children to thrive. Our faculty works cooperatively and collaboratively together within a greater community that is progressive and has a small town feel while benefiting from the multi-faceted cultural opportunities of Aspen and surrounding towns.
Essential Job Duties
RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement dynamic and engaging eurythmy lesson plans that align with the Waldorf curriculum and the specific needs of each grade level, bringing academic content to life

Oversee student snack, recess, and/or other periods as needed for FT equivalency

Evaluate progress of students and prepare student reports

Offer performances of student work and support seasonal festivals and class plays

Participate in weekly faculty meetings and committee work

Contribute to parent meetings and curricular presentations

Collaborate with student support services and colleagues

Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and fellow faculty

Employ effective classroom management techniques that encourage student focus, respect, and participation
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
-
Have an Artistic and Pedagogical Eurythmy Diploma.

Bring three or more years of successful teaching experience in a Waldorf setting.

Hold an undergraduate degree.

Be open to mentoring and ongoing professional development.

Have a deep knowledge of and commitment to Waldorf education.
Employment Details
We offer a strong benefits package, competitive salary, and remission. Our base salary for a trained teacher is currently $68,000 with yearly increments based on experience.
